190 Years of Independence in Greece

There will be plenty of celebrating in Greece today to mark the country's 190th anniversary of independence.

March 25th is Greece's National Day in which the country celebrates becoming a democratic country. Greece regained their independence for the first time about 2000 years ago and again on this day, 190 years ago.

Greece, as a nation has inspired many other nations and people from around the world, as they have gained freedom, equality and democracy.
