Greek Islands See Increase in Tourists
The Greek islands, Kos, Lesvos, Rhodes and Samos have recorded nearly a 100 % rise in Turkish tourists this summer. The main reason for the record numbers of Turkish tourists is that the Greek government has recently eased visa restrictions for non E.U citizens at its ports.
The increase in Turkish travellers has been positive news for Greece`s tourist industry, as reports have suggested that a number of other nationalities visiting the country had fallen considerably.
