The International Tourism Exhibition 'Tourism Panorama 2009', was held earlier this month in the Expo Centre in Athens. Those attending included Blue Star Ferries, who presented their routes for this summer season to various Greek Islands.One of the highlights is a new ferry route from Thessaloniki to Rhodes Island starting on 5 June. The ferry will go from Thessaloniki to Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Kalimnos, Kos and on to Rhodes.
For those with families, the good news is that Blue Star are introducing discounts of up to 23% for those booking cabins with four beds. The discounts are already available on family tickets to/from Pieria to all the islands in the Cyclades, Dodecanese and Iraklio. The discounts are also available for the new Thessaloniki/Rhodes ferry route.
